Companies are jumping into the EV charging space at an ever increasing pace.
Subway, the largest fast food chain in the world, is the latest to get into the space. While you will not find EV chargers at all locations, they will be in select places dubbed the Subway Oasis.
"...the EV parks will be outfitted with "charging canopies with multiple ports, picnic tables, Wi-Fi, restrooms, green space, and even playgrounds," the chain said Tuesday."
Charging will not be free however, costing about $20 for a 17-minute fast charge. While waiting for the charge, customers will be offered discounts on food items. Earlier, Taco Bell made a similar announcement with its solar powered stations.
